Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak

Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak (born 28 June 1942) is a Pakistani politician from Rajanpur whose legislative career spans more than five decades. He is an agriculturist and industrialist, and his father, Sardar Bahadur Khan Dreshak, was also a member of Punjab’s provincial legislature in the 1940s and 1950s.

Dreshak graduated from Government College, Lahore, in 1962, earned an LLB from Punjab University Law College in 1964, and completed an MA at the University of the Punjab in 1966. He was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in 1970 and went on to serve multiple terms through the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s, holding provincial cabinet portfolios including Food and Cooperatives, Irrigation and Power, and Planning and Development.

Dreshak was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from Rajanpur in 1997 and again in 2002, serving as Chief Whip of the National Assembly from 2004 to 2007. He returned to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in 2013 before being elected to the National Assembly once more in 2018 as a candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, representing NA-194 Rajanpur-II until the assembly’s dissolution in early 2023.
